A 27-year-old individual, Jonathan Kubben Quiñonez, has embarked on a remarkable journey, fulfilling the aspirations of every avid traveler. In order to alleviate his concerned mother’s worries about his safety during his global escapades, Quiñonez ingeniously devised a foolproof method.

Having recently relinquished his positions as a part-time model and consultant in Brussels, Quiñonez made the audacious decision to embrace a nomadic lifestyle, divesting himself of all material possessions, including his car, to traverse the globe at will.

However, upon arrival, he encountered a scarcity of internet access, a stark contrast to the readily available connectivity he had grown accustomed to in Europe. Consequently, Quiñonez faced considerable challenges in maintaining communication with his mother and friends due to the time difference, compounded by the exorbitant costs associated with making phone calls.

In order to reassure his anxious Mexican mother residing in Brussels of his safety, the individual in question devised a method of displaying a sign that reads “Mom, I’m fine” at every new location he visited, subsequently sharing the images on Instagram. In a recent post, Quiñonez stated, “Regardless of one’s age, if they possess a Latin mother and a fervor for exploration, it becomes imperative to communicate their well-being to her. This is my chosen approach.”

The traveler captures captivating and distinctive images of himself amidst picturesque locations. It didn’t take much time for his photographs to gain immense popularity and become a viral sensation. In 2016, he took the initiative to officially trademark his concept and subsequently introduced a clothing line. The proceeds generated from this venture are dedicated towards supporting a noble humanitarian cause in Mexico – the establishment of a school constructed entirely from repurposed plastics!

Jonathan has embarked on numerous exhilarating expeditions, yet his aspirations extend beyond the confines of Earth. His ambition lies in collaborating with the esteemed European Space Agency to transmit a poignant message, “Mom, I’m fine,” into the vast expanse of space.

When inquired about the countries Jonathan has traversed, he disclosed that he has thus far explored a total of 78 nations, with the sole purpose of keeping a record for interview purposes. Among the myriad of destinations he has ventured to, it was his expedition to India that left an indelible mark on the intrepid traveler. Reflecting upon this particular journey, he expressed, “I experienced a profound mix of emotions, ranging from sheer elation to poignant sorrow. It was an incredibly humbling and arduous experience, at times evoking literal goosebumps.”

When discussing his future plans, Jonathan revealed that he and his team are currently developing distinctive global experiences that individuals can have the opportunity to win. “It can be living with a tribe in Mongolia to sleeping in an ice hotel to see the northern lights, etc. We will offer one crazy experience to win per month. We are shooting every month to launch soon. (That’s why I am learning how to sail in Iceland atm).” Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
