Amber Turner and instructor Chris Oliver exchanged flirty messages that enraged his girlfriend
According to The Sun, Amber Turner, a cast member of The Only Way Is Essex, allegedly engaged in ‘flirtatious’ communication with Chris Oliver, an instructor on Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins, which greatly upset his long-term girlfriend.
The publication states that the 30-year-old reality star was confronted by Jasmine Shergold, who has been in a relationship with Chris, a former Special Forces Operator, for a decade, regarding their interactions on Instagram.
Amber and Chris crossed paths during the filming of the most recent season of the show in Vietnam. The series is currently being broadcasted on Channel 4, and in a recent episode, Chris was seen expressing a ‘mischievous sentiment’ towards Amber’s defiance of authority.
A source told the publication: ‘Chris and Amber had been DM-ing each other and Jasmine found them. The messages were very chatty and conversational but some appeared to be a bit flirty…
‘Chris had sent the odd picture too and talked about going out in London with Amber. For Jasmine it came as a shock.
‘She was understandably angry and wanted to know just what was happening. Chris had asked for Amber’s phone number so Jasmine rang her and they spoke.’
According to reports, Jasmine allegedly requested Amber to erase her messages, including her contact information.
The source further disclosed that Amber was deeply embarrassed upon hearing from Jasmine and expressed remorse, as she was unaware that Chris was in a committed relationship.
The insider emphasized that there was no physical involvement between Chris and Amber, and their interaction solely consisted of exchanging messages.
Jasmine purportedly believed Amber’s account and concluded that she had not deceived her. However, she still found it distressing to discover messages from another woman on her partner’s social media.
The publication proceeds to state that this week, Chris posted pictures with Jasmine on Instagram for the first time, only to promptly remove them.
Jasmine declined to provide a comment on the matter at this time, as stated to The Sun.
Chris, a former Special Forces Operator and Royal Marine Mountain Leader, possesses 16 years of combat experience. Originally from Sunderland in the Northeast of England, he currently resides in Poole, Dorset. Chris enlisted in the military at the age of 16 and served in the elite Special Boat Service, alongside fellow DS Foxy. He was deployed on operations to Sierra Leone, Northern Ireland, Oman, Iraq, and Afghanistan before departing from the military in 2015.
Amber has been single since her separation from on-and-off TOWIE partner Dan Edgar earlier this summer. At the time of their split, Amber informed her followers, “I wasn’t going to post anything, but due to speculation and questions, I feel like I need to. Yes, Dan and I have split.” She went on to say, “I honestly wish him the best for the future. Please respect our privacy at this time. Thank you.” Following the announcement, Amber was seen driving away from the “dream” Essex mansion they had recently purchased together just before Christmas.
Later on the same day, Dan was observed arriving at the residence, despite prior knowledge that he had vacated their abode. Although Dan and Amber have been in a relationship since 2017, it is not the first instance where their relationship has been strained. In the previous year, Ella Rae Wise criticized the former electrician for behaving inappropriately at a nightclub and advised Amber not to trust him. TOWIE star Ella, who was 22 at the time, informed MailOnline that Dan should refrain from physical contact and expressed her shock at his behavior, given his long-term relationship.
Amber is currently participating in Celebrity SAS alongside MP Matt Hancock, TOWIE star James Argent, singer Siva Kaneswaran, Liberty X star Michelle Heaton, rugby player Gareth Thomas, and athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton. The challenge also includes singer Gareth Gates, model and TV personality Danielle Lloyd, former glamour model Melinda Messenger, Love Island’s Montana Brown and Teddy Soares, Hollyoaks’ Kirsty-Leigh Porter, and ex-footballer Jermaine Pennant. On the previous Sunday’s episode, Amber was summoned for a conversation with the rigorous course instructors after they accused her of being arrogant.
In a vulnerable moment, she divulged the mistreatment she endures due to her involvement in TOWIE.
Overwhelmed with emotion, she tearfully articulated, “I am a highly sensitive individual. Every action I undertake is subjected to scrutiny and criticism, with derogatory labels assigned to me for even the most trivial matters. I impose immense expectations upon myself, which further compounds the strain I experience.”
