Kim Zolciak is ‘extremely grateful’ following the split with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann
Kim Zolciak made an appearance on Instagram prior to the weekend to disseminate a new Stories post to her 3.4 million followers. The 45-year-old Bravo TV personality, who recently agreed to participate in a reboot of the reality show Surreal Life, shared a clip in which she appeared elegantly dressed and expressed her gratitude. The mother of six had her icy blonde tresses styled in a center part and cascading spirals that draped over her chest.
She employed a filter to enhance the appearance of her eyes and lips while posing for the camera. This post was shared on Friday subsequent to her spouse, Kroy Biermann, alleging in legal documents that they are currently experiencing severe financial hardship.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, the 38-year-old former NFL player once again petitioned a judge on Monday to grant permission for a prompt sale of the couple’s $3 million Georgia residence.
In the legal filings, he asserted that they are currently facing severe financial hardship due to their overwhelming debts, which he primarily attributes to the extravagant spending habits and online gambling tendencies of the Don’t Be Tardy star.
Kroy informed the judge that they would be able to sell their home since the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has imposed a lien of $1.1 million on the property.
He expressed optimism that by swiftly selling the house, they could potentially avoid the most severe financial penalties and losses, as there is still some remaining equity in the property.
The retired athlete emphasized the urgency of the situation, as the looming threat of foreclosure is imminent for the second time.
Kroy expressed his hope that any remaining funds from the sale of the residence could be utilized to secure separate living arrangements for the estranged couple.
In the documents, he reiterated his strong desire for a prompt sale, following Kim’s recent filing requesting a specific judge to oversee the proceedings.
He alleged that Kim’s actions were a deliberate attempt to impede the sale of the home.
According to Kroy’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, as previously stated in Us Weekly, it is believed that Kim’s objective is to prolong the legal proceedings until she can file for bankruptcy. This would temporarily halt the foreclosure on the property, but it would also result in the couple being forced to reside together in a toxic environment for an indeterminate amount of time. Bergstrom expressed concern that this approach is unwise, as it is probable that Kroy and Kim will be left with very little in the end.
In the latest legal documents, Kroy’s legal team asserts that Kim has repeatedly stated that she will not vacate the marital residence, thereby obstructing any attempts to sell it. The filing further contends that Kim is unaware of the potential harm that her purported delaying tactics could inflict upon her family. The team laments that Kim’s self-centeredness prevents her from recognizing the ongoing negative impact of her actions on their minor children.
